Workplace Requirements:

• Students must have access to a regulated early childhood education and care service in Australia.
• Students must complete a minimum of 280 hours of work placement.
• Work placement activities must include at least 40 hours working with babies aged 0–23 months.
• Students must have access to workplace policies, procedures, documentation and resources required to complete assessment tasks.
• Students must undertake workplace-based assessment activities and practical demonstrations of skills.
• Workplace observations must be completed to demonstrate competency against qualification requirements.
• Students must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check where required by their workplace or state legislation.
